after the first move a window pops up saying game will end due to 32 bit engine.How can I rectify this problem and it`s on another person`s machine which is new Brand of machine is a Meridon 120g hd pent.4 gforce4200t video card??????? thanks to all that can help!

Are you using Compatibility Mode? Take a look in Help and Support for Compatibility if you're not. Since the game was written for Windows 3.1, I would be cautious to match the other settings (resolution and colors) on the Compatibility tab, too.
